We are a:
- community-based
- nonprofit
- non-governmental organization
dedicated to reducing poverty through support for formal education for children in poor communities in the United States and Ghana.
To achieve those goals we work to improve:
- school enrollment,
- completion and
- graduation rates
in poor communities, working within uniquely innovative and custom created home-school-community bridges to support at-risk children.
Examples of our activities include:
- after-school support for children,
- micro-credit support for families,
- emergency support for children,
- enhanced vocational education and training,
- school drop-out prevention incentives, and
- program support for schools.
